Event description
The Story Box brings books to life through storytelling, music, games and crafts for children under-5 and their grown-ups. Join us in the beautiful Walton Life Rooms on Evered Avenue.

The Little Details:
- The Story Box is designed for children 2-5; younger and older children are welcome to attend, but some activities may not be suitable.
- Due to this specific funding, we are unable to accommodate childminders at this time.
- We have ample space, so please feel free to bring your pram into the room.
- Children will need to stay with a responsible parent/carer throughout the event.
- The Story Box is an interactive event, so we ask that children don't eat snacks until the end of the session.
- Please do not attend if anyone in your household or bubble has Covid-19 or other illness symptoms.
- Photographs will be taken at our events, which may be used in future promotional materials by Creative Spaces Co. and our partners. If you do not wish for your child’s photograph to be taken, please, opt-out with the facilitator.

With You - Drug and Alcohol support drop-in at The Life Rooms Walton

Event description
With You drug and alcohol service will be attending the Life Rooms to provide informal advice and information to those who require support from their drug and alcohol use.
We recognise that drug and alcohol can impact everyone and therefore we want to make ourselves as accessible as possible to reach those who need our help and support.
We have teamed up with 'With You' , who will deliver a drop in advice and information clinic every fortnight on a Friday between 10am-12:30pm for those who require advice and information around drug and alcohol use including signposting and specialist referrals. In the afternoon we will be operating an appointment clinic to deliver one to one interventions to those in treatment and residing in the locality of The Life Rooms allowing us to bring the service to you and reduce the stigma associated with attending a ‘drug service’.

Those with mental health conditions are more likely to smoke and will find it harder to achieve a full long term quit.
You will recieve:
- Support for 12 weeks
- A quit plan to match your needs (relapse prevention, dealing with cravings and the benefits of quitting smoking)
- Behavioural support
All nicotine replacement products will be requested, by an advisor, via an E-voucher, this will be sent directly to their nominated Liverpool pharmacy. Prescription based products; Zyban, can also be requested.

- Help to sustain your accommodation
- Support that promotes your independence and wellbeing
- Making your home a comfortable, safe, and secure place to live
- Budgeting and debt management
- Filling in forms
- Accessing benefits
- Building confidence and working to improve mental and physical wellbeing
This is appointment based only - You can access this through attending our Pathways Advice Service drop-in's to book an appointment for further support around housing issues.

Liverpool Community Learning Disability Team drop-in, at The Life Rooms Walton

Event description
The Service User Drop in is a monthly group for people with a Learning Disability from Liverpool. It is a stepping stone for people who are known to Liverpool Learning Disability Team who might like to get involved in community activities.
We meet for 2 hours and talk about different things and do activities. It is a group for people to come to with their parents and carers if they want to. It is a good opportunity for parents and carers to meet each other and get involved in the activities as well.
As well as craft activities and quizzes we ask people from local community services to come and tell us about their groups and activities around Liverpool. We also talk about issues relevant to People with a Learning Disability and share information to the group.

The Service User Drop in is a monthly group for people with a Learning Disability from Liverpool. It is a stepping stone for people who are known to Liverpool Learning Disability Team who might like to get involved in community activities.
We meet for 2 hours and talk about different things and do activities. It is a group for people to come to with their parents and carers if they want to. It is a good opportunity for parents and carers to meet each other and get involved in the activities as well.
As well as craft activities and quizzes we ask people from local community services to come and tell us about their groups and activities around Liverpool. We also talk about issues relevant to People with a Learning Disability and share information to the group.

With You drug and alcohol service will be attending the Life Rooms to provide informal advice and information to those who require support from their drug and alcohol use.
We recognise that drug and alcohol can impact everyone and therefore we want to make ourselves as accessible as possible to reach those who need our help and support.
We have teamed up with 'With You' , who will deliver a drop in advice and information clinic every fortnight on a Friday between 10am-12:30pm for those who require advice and information around drug and alcohol use including signposting and specialist referrals. In the afternoon we will be operating an appointment clinic to deliver one to one interventions to those in treatment and residing in the locality of The Life Rooms allowing us to bring the service to you and reduce the stigma associated with attending a ‘drug service’.

We have teamed up with 'With You' , who will deliver a drop in advice and information clinic every fortnight on a Friday between 10am-12:30pm for those who require advice and information around drug and alcohol use including signposting and specialist referrals. In the afternoon we will be operating an appointment clinic to deliver one to one interventions to those in treatment and residing in the locality of The Life Rooms allowing us to bring the service to you and reduce the stigma associated with attending a ‘drug service’.

The smoking prevalence in Liverpool is still one of the highest in the country. By us offering free stop smoking support to those wanting to quit, we can focus on reducing this.
Those with mental health conditions are more likely to smoke and will find it harder to achieve a full long term quit.
You will recieve:
- Support for 12 weeks
- A quit plan to match your needs (relapse prevention, dealing with cravings and the benefits of quitting smoking)
- Behavioural support
All nicotine replacement products will be requested, by an advisor, via an E-voucher, this will be sent directly to their nominated Liverpool pharmacy. Prescription based products; Zyban, can also be requested.

The smoking prevalence in Liverpool is still one of the highest in the country. By us offering free stop smoking support to those wanting to quit, we can focus on reducing this.
Those with mental health conditions are more likely to smoke and will find it harder to achieve a full long term quit.
You will recieve:
- Support for 12 weeks
- A quit plan to match your needs (relapse prevention, dealing with cravings and the benefits of quitting smoking)
- Behavioural support

The smoking prevalence in Liverpool is still one of the highest in the country. By us offering free stop smoking support to those wanting to quit, we can focus on reducing this.
Those with mental health conditions are more likely to smoke and will find it harder to achieve a full long term quit.
You will recieve:
- Support for 12 weeks
- A quit plan to match your needs (relapse prevention, dealing with cravings and the benefits of quitting smoking)
- Behavioural support
All nicotine replacement products will be requested, by an advisor, via an E-voucher, this will be sent directly to their nominated Liverpool pharmacy. Prescription based products; Zyban, can also be requested.

We are pleased to able to offer this event in-person and it will take place at our Bootle Life Rooms site.
Please note there is no parking available at Bootle Life Rooms and we therefore encourage the use of public transport; with Bootle Oriel Road train station a 3 minute walk away, and bus routes 81, 81A, 135 stop outside The Life Rooms. Parking is available at Bootle Strand, Car Bootle and Castle Bingo Bootle.

If you are over the age of 18 and have a low income, or know somebody who fits the criteria, then please come along to see if you can access free data through the scheme.
The free data comes in the form of a pre-loaded sim card, so this is ideal for people using a pay as you go sim or for anyone who currently can’t afford a sim card.

The first hour of each session will be for appointments and then we will offer a drop in service open to anyone for the rest of the session.

The exhibition brings a striking red caravan transformed into a Liverpool FC fans bedroom, and is based on nostalgic Liverpool FC images spanning from the 1960s to the 90s. There will also be a range of activities for you to get hands-on with football heritage!

Stop smoking with Smoke Free Sefton at The Life Rooms Southport

Our team at Smokefree Sefton have specialist motivational skills including behaviour change which is an essential part of stopping smoking.
You are 3 times more likely to stop smoking if you access help from a stop smoking services. We offer a blended approach of seeing an advisor in person at one of our local community venues combined with telephone support and provide access to treatments such as nicotine replacement therapy which are proven to help you quit.
The first hour of each session will be for appointments and then we will offer a drop in service open to anyone for the rest of the session.
