We at The Life Rooms are here to help you live the best way you can.
You might have a housing issue, a question about your employment, want advice on your lifestyle, or tips on how to exercise: whatever it is, we can help you take your next steps towards a healthier and happier life.
Our courses and support services for adults are delivered in Walton, South Liverpool, Southport, and Bootle. You can access:
- Learning: a wide range of courses for positive mental and physical health as well as cultural and creative opportunities
- Social prescribing: practical one-to-one support in areas like employment, housing and debt
- Inclusion: safe and welcoming environments.
Once you walk through our door or speak to a member of our team, you will be able to access even wider resources including meeting spaces for community groups, family friendly areas, and computer suites. You can also access library facilities at our Walton and Southport sites, and a café at our Walton site.

At The Life Rooms we have a threefold approach to improving health: learning, social prescribing, and community.
Our three pillar model is based on a social approach which enables people to become more active in their own health.
We focus on prevention and enabling the whole community – service users, carers, their families, and local communities – to bring about change.
This model improves the health of the population and reduces pressure on clinical services.
Services are confidential unless there is a concern about a risk to yourself or someone else. If this is the case, the reason for breaking your confidence will be made explicit wherever possible by a member of the team.
