We provide many free, short courses at The Life Rooms. They range from courses to recognise, understand and manage symptoms like anxiety, depression and psychosis to creative workshop based courses to build confidence and self-esteem or develop skills in arts like singing, crafts, music, comedy and drama.
Our courses can be accessed in three different ways: face to face at one of our sites, virtually via Zoom or online via our LearnWorlds platform where you can work in your own time and at your own pace.
Co-production is at the heart of everything we do. Every course and workshop we offer is designed and delivered by experienced facilitators working Side by Side with volunteers with lived experience.
We run face to face learning sessions at our Walton, Southport and Bootle sites, Monday to Friday.

We offer free live sessions online via Zoom that allow you to log on from the safety and comfort of your own home.
Please click on the session to register at least 2 days before it takes place to make sure that you receive your link in plenty of time.
*Some of our courses are run in blocks of six to eight weekly sessions. Once these courses are full, we're unable to accept any new participants. We often run courses more than once so if you miss out the first time, look out for future courses.
The Life Rooms Online is our free, interactive online space called LearnWorlds where you can learn about mental wellbeing and physical health, follow along with our exercise videos or learn skills like cooking, at your own time and pace.
