Ceramics Workshop with the Bluecoat (3/5)

Architectural forms can be found in both natural and manmade structures. Participants will us the sea as a starting point for a small clay sculpture that will explore creating space and form from simple shapes and decoration. Starting with paper and card, you will look at creating component parts and use slotting, joining, stamping and balance to make pieces that are lively and dramatic. These clay pieces will be fired and delivered to Life Rooms at a later date.
