The Employment Support Service will continue to support and take referrals from NHS Talking Therapies across Halton, Knowsley, Liverpool and St Helens, supporting their service users to find and remain in work through engagement with local employers.

The Life Rooms also deliver Individual Placement Support (IPS) employment services in Halton, Knowsley, Liverpool, Sefton, St Helens, and Warrington, working collaboratively with community mental health teams, service users, and local employers, as well as taking self-referrals.

Meaningful employment can support individuals with their health, wellbeing, and recovery, and this expansion of employment services gives us greater focus on supporting people to address the social determinants of health, and return to or remain in meaningful employment.
