What is the Mindfulness Taster course about?
Do you want to know what mindfulness practice is? This session explains what mindfulness is whilst deciding whether you are ready to explore mindfulness practice.
It is important to start mindfulness practice at the right time in your recovery. Anyone who wishes to attend mindfulness explored must first attend this introduction session to ascertain whether now is the right time to develop these techniques.
After completing these sessions you will be able to:
- Discuss what mindfulness is
- Focus on whether you are ready to try mindfulness practice
Who should attend?
Anyone who has an interest in mindfulness and would like to discuss whether they should enrol on the Mindfulness Explored sessions.
Who will be there?
Trained mindfulness practitioners with lived experience of mental health conditions.
This one session lasts for two and a half hours.
