What is the Managing Anxiety course about?
Anxiety is an experience that we all endure at some time in our lives. It becomes a problem when it starts to have a negative impact on our lives. So what can we do about it?
This session is a great follow-on from attending understanding anxiety or
as a standalone session for those who simply wish to learn the techniques, strategies and tips to help keep anxiety under control.
Following this course you may wish to develop your strategies further by attending advanced anxiety management.
After completing these sessions you will be able to:
- Identify some methods that can improve your wellbeing
- Create weekly plans to use some of these tips
- Reflect and review your progress
Who should attend?
Anyone who want to learn strategies to cope with anxiety better.

Peer Tutors and volunteers with experience in trying out some of these methods in their own lives.
